I’m a Gas Safe Registered Gas Engineer so I’m legally Qualified to carry out your annual Gas Safety Checks and issue Landlords Certificates when your property passes my inspection. Corgi was taken over by Gas Safe Register a few years ago so the old Corgi certificates are no longer valid or legal.

I Charge an extra £15 if there is a gas fire or wall heater at the property. This is because to do a gas safety check correctly on a fire takes a lot longer than just a boiler or boiler and hob etc. If there is a gas fire or wall heater at your property then my Gas Safety Check would cost £74 £54. If there is no gas fire then the safety check costs £59 £39.

For the basic gas safety certificte which items are all gas appliances checked?
Hi Howard, included in my basic gas safety check is any gas appliance that is not a gas fire or gas wall heater.
eg. boiler, hob, cooker etc. are all included.
The gas meter and supply pipe is also checked.
If there is a gas fire or gas wall heater in the property then I charge an extra £15.
Your tenant gets a copy of the Landlords Gas Safety Certificate and as the Landlord you also get a copy.

Hi Steven, I do have public liability insurance for my gas work up to 2 million pounds cover which is arranged via ‘The Insurance Shop’ in Milnsbridge if your letting agent needs to follow this up.
